The idm patch that we are going to use here can be used for two purposes, the first is to patch the idm and the other is to register the idm with your name. So you can perform two tasks with the single tool, you don't have to use two separate tools for patching and registration.

After downloading internet download manager patch also download the idm version 6.02 or greater from the official site and install it on your desktop.
- Download the internet download manger (idm) patch from the link mentioned above.
- Extract the rar file to a folder.
- Close the idm (if installed) for the desktop tray at the bottom right corner of the desktop.
- Copy the "idm-patch-UnREaL.exe" (from the extracted directory) to the installation folder. which is usually C:\Program Files\Internet Download Manager
- After copying run the "idm-patch-UnREaL.exe" from the installation folder and
- Click on the "REG" button.
- Then Click on the "PATCH" button.
- A file selection window will appear. Browse for the idm.exe and press open.
- Press Done and the IDM will be patched Tada!!!!
